Ryan O'Neal accused of pestering woman for phone sex
American actor Ryan O'Neal has been accused of pestering a woman for phone sex.
The 68-year-old actor, heartbroken over the condition of cancer-stricken lover Farrah Fawcett, has been accused for harassing one Dania Marin, 20.
Marin has filed at Los Angeles Superior Court for a restraining order banning O'Neal from coming within 50 yards of her.
Marin claimed that O'Neal was a family friend.
"He freaked me out. I was afraid that he knew where I lived," the Sun quoted her as saying. (ANI)
'Berlusconi wants teenage lingerie model to be MP'
The teenage lingerie model who appears to have brought Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi to the brink of divorce, says the controversial Italian leader wants her to be an MP.
'Papi [Daddy] Silvio will fix it,' Noemi Letizia was quoted as saying in an interview with the Italian newspaper, La Repubblica.
Berlusconi's wife Veronica Lario, an ex-actress, complained publicly about her 72-year-old husband's appearance at Letizia's 18th birthday celebrations before announcing last week she was divorcing him after 19 years of marriage.
But Letizia said: 'Papi brought me up. He's always been kind to me. One year he gave me a little diamond; another time, a small necklace. I adore him.'
'He calls me, he tells me he has some free time and I join him in Milan or Rome. I stay there listening to him. That's what he wants from me. Then we sing together,' she was reported as saying.
The prime minister also told her dirty jokes, the paper reported, according to The Times of London.
Asked whether she hoped to stand in forthcoming regional elections, she replied: 'No. I'd prefer to stand for the lower house of parliament. Papi Silvio will fix it.'
She also denied rumours that she was Berlusconi's illegitimate daughter.
Jack Black takes two breakfasts
The 'Kung Fu Panda' star accepts he gorges on food everyday, reports China Daily.
'My new thing is that I have oatmeal and ice green tea for breakfast. Then I have a second breakfast,' he said.
'I try to eat foods that give me energy to try to make it through the day... I try and work out but it's a losing battle with the fine food and good red wine that is available,' he added.
Mariah Carey to get $1 mn for one-hour performance
Pop singer Mariah Carey and Welsh singer Tom Jones will earn $1 million each for performing for an hour at the opening of a new luxury resort.
The 39-year-old diva and the 68-year-old Jones will each sing for an hour to open an exclusive $926 million the Mardan Resort in Turkey. It is said to be the most expensive resorts in Europe, reports China Daily.
Based in Antalya, Turkey, the resort is owned by Russian tycoon Telman Ismailov.
'Telman is not a man who hesitates when it comes to throwing big parties. He wants the opening of the hotel to be a major event and insisted Tom and Mariah be booked to perform, no matter what the cost,' said a source close to Telman.
The Mardan Resort features five acres of fresh water swimming pools and has a sunken aquarium stocked with over 2,000 fish as its centerpiece. The hotel boasts of 560 rooms.
Stars, including Sharon Stone and Sir Paul McCartney, have also been invited to attend the opening May 23.
Now a 'Gladiator' sequel in the pipeline
Cave was asked to write the screenplay at the request of Scott and star Russell Crowe but the idea was eventually scrapped after the film's studio decided it was too hard to follow on from the first film, in which Crowe's character, Maximus, dies, reports themirror.co.uk.
In Cave's script, however, Maximus is reincarnated by Roman gods and he goes on to become the saviour of early Christians.
Scott, on the other hand, has not rejected Cave's version for the sequel to the 200 film.
'We tried [to go with Cave's script]. Russell didn't want to let it go, obviously, because it worked very well...When I say 'worked very well', I don't refer to success. I mean, as a piece it works very well. Storytelling, [it] works brilliantly,' said Scott.
'I think [Cave] enjoyed doing it, and I think it was one of those things that he thought, Well, maybe there's a sequel where we can adjust the fantasy and bring [Maximus] back from the dead,' he added.
Cave's script has also been described by a blogger as 'one of the most amazing, out-of-left-field screenplays I have ever read'.
Macca scotches engagement rumours
Sir Paul McCartney has scotched rumours of his engagement with girlfriend Nancy Shevell.
Media reports recently suggested that the former Beatle had put an engagement ring on Shevell's finger, but was keeping the news under wraps fearing his former wife Heather Mills might ruin the happy moment.
However, a spokesman for McCartney's insists that the reports were far from truth.
"There is not truth in it whatsoever. They have not become engaged in any shape or form. It is utter nonsense," Contactmusic quoted the spokesman as saying. (ANI)
Megan Fox feasts on boys in new movie
Actress Megan Fox will be seen feasting on boys in the dark comedy and horror film Jennifer's Body.
The film features the Transformers star, voted the Sexiest Woman in the World by FHM magazine, in the role of a mean-girl cheerleader possessed by a demon who begins feeding off the boys in a farming town.
"It's a really dark comedy with a lot of secret messages lying underneath the script," the Daily Star quoted her as saying.
"I play the captain of the flag team and I get improperly sacrificed by this rock band, who are trying to obtain a record deal - so they sell their soul to Satan. They need to sacrifice a virgin.
"I'm not a virgin, so what happens is I get taken over by a demon and, in order to stay alive in this sort of undead period, I have to eat flesh, so I eat boys," she added.
Revealing as to how she prepared for the role and cooked up her own plot about her character being molested by her father, the 22-year-old said: "It's not in the script but, in my head, my character was victimised by my dad, so I take it out on the boys in my high school.
She added: "So it's me eating them and having this bizarre pseudo-lesbian relationship with my best friend. It's all very manipulative and is basically how frightening young girls can be - they're completely terrifying." (ANI)

Britney demands exorbitant facilities for hotel stay in London
Pop diva Britney Spears has demanded a long list of hotel room facilities for her visit to England in June.
The 'Womaniser' singer has reportedly made several requests to London's Dorchester hotel where she will stay in June when her ongoing Circus tour comes to England. She has demanded humidifiers, Marilyn Monroe DVDs and 100 watt light bulbs, reports China Daily.
Spears has also asked for fresh flowers, celebrity magazines and women's novels for her room.
'Britney may only be staying in the city for two weeks but she knows exactly what she wants. She'll be bringing all her own pillows for ultra comfort and her security will sleep outside her suite every night,' said a source.
The mother-of-two has also requested tickets for West End theater productions, as well as a place to horse ride and a map of running routes around the nearby Hyde Park from the hotel.
The source added: 'Britney is also hoping to make a private visit to Kensington Palace. She has decided she will travel by private plane to Manchester - then fly straight back to London.'
The tour concert will take place at London's O2 arena for eight shows June 3-14.
The 27-year-old star is also due to perform at the Manchester Evening News arena June 17 before the tour moves to Ireland and then France.

Shouting 'We want John, we want John' before the star was to make an appearance on the stage, the male lot completely subdued the low-pitched voices of the fairer sex with repetitive chants of 'T-shirt, T-shirt' that reverberated the open-air auditorium. They wanted the actor to peel off.
'Come on dude, hit it (T-shirt)...you got to take it out today and beat Salman (Khan) off his birthright,' shouted Saurabh Kejriwal, a student from Amity University in Noida.
Ashish Damani, a 24-year-old businessman, echoed the same but with a different purpose.
'Do it for my girl John, please...she worships you,' he cried in disappointment.
However, the 'Jism' star did not. But he obliged the masses by giving away complimentary T-shirts.
'See, that (flaunting his body) was in a movie. Otherwise I am very very shy...Well, if I take-off my T-shirt, then what will I wear,' quipped the actor, clad in a body hugging white T-shirt and trousers and earthy summer coolers on the foot.
John, who is the first Indian brand ambassador of Diet Pepsi, also unveiled the soft drinks' slim can in the consumer launch set-up.
As the people worked out, a total of 265,000 calories was burnt during the event. An equivalent amount of rupees was announced to be given to non-profit organisation Conserve to create environmental awareness among the youth.
