What split, asks Preity
All rumours," says Preity Zinta of her alleged break-up with long-term beau and IPL partner Ness Wadia. "The press seems to know my feelings better than me," she has told a TV channel, when asked about the 'split', as reported by some publications. Text courtesy: Hindustan Times
The rumour mills started working overtime when Preity turned up at the recent Mai Mumbai fashion show after-party without Ness. It surprised many, since they have been attending events as a couple for years.
At this party, reported a tabloid, Preity was getting 'friendly' with hotelier Vikram Chatwal, who helped organise the Mai Mumbai show. Chatwal himself seems to be facing a rough patch in his marriage with Delhi girl Priya Sachdev - she was conspicuous by her absence at Mai Mumbai, and also skipped the launch of his Dream hotel in Cochin last week.
A source says that Preity and Chatwal first hit it off at Shah Rukh Khan's birthday bash in Dream hotel, New York. HT City tried to contact Preity and Vikram for any comment, but both were unavailable.
Priya said, "I don't want to talk about my marriage", while her sister Charu said, "You're the first one telling me about it."
A friend of the actress, not wishing to be named, told us, "At that Mumbai party, Preity was friendly not just with Vikram but with Arjun Rampal and her other pals, too. She doesn't date every guy she is friends with."

They are carrying on with the trend set by them and another real-life pair, Saif Ali khan and Kareena Kapoor, who are playing spies in Sriram Raghavan's 'Agent Vinod'.
'Our slick espionage thriller will be in the same genre as 'The Bourne Identity'. It will be shot in Greece, Istanbul, Thailand and India,' said Ritesh Sidhwani, the producer of 'Crooked'.
Gul Panag and Jimmy Shergil along with Boman Irani, who has just wrapped up Shyam Benegal's latest, will also be playing key roles in the film.
'The English-language title will most probably change,' says Sidhwani, who's working with the entire cast, barring Boman, for the first time.
The film will be directed by Abhinay Deo who is currently in the process of wrapping up Aamir Khan Productions' 'Delhi Belly' with Imran Khan and Shernaz Treasuryvala in the cast.
