King Arthur in the British television drama series Merlin is a modern-day version of Prince Harry, since the legendary leader is "a bit of a d***head", claims its producer.

Producer Johnny Capps made the revelation ahead of the launch of the second series based on the Arthurian legends of the mythical wizard Merlin and his relationship with Prince Arthur.

Capps drew the comparison between Arthur and the royal, known for his hard-party lifestyle and reported incidents involving cannabis, stressing the former was not perfect.

"We had to understand that Merlin was an older man and Arthur was king, and then subvert that, so when you first meet the young Prince Arthur, he's a bit of a d***head," the Daily Star quoted him as saying.

"He's a modern-day Prince Harry, he occasionally shows great strength but likes to party and have fun," he added.

Johnny continued: "He's a slightly comic character but you see heroic moments, and the audience should enjoy going on the journey, seeing the first signs of the king he will eventually become."

Co-producer Julian Murphy further dwelled upon the relationship between Prince Arthur and Merlin to 1990s show Jeeves and Wooster.

Julian said: "Merlin is like many heroes, he's a secret hero. Nobody knows he's the hero. He and Arthur are an odd couple in an almost Jeeves and Wooster way in that the servant knows more than the master, and often gets him out of trouble.

"So we're taking the legend and twisting it, and saying without the servant, Arthur would not have been the man he was."

Megan Fox has dismissed rumours that is set to play comic book heroine Wonder Woman in a movie.

Rumours are abuzz that director Joss Whedon is putting together a cast for an upcoming big screen outing for the superhero siren, and Fox is apparently the favourite to play the lead role.

However, the 'Transformer' star insists that she will never get involved with the comic book adaptation.

"She's lame. She flies around in an invisible jet, but she's not invisible. I don't get it," the Daily Star quoted her as telling FHM

While there are on and off reports of a 'Friends' movie for a long time, the beloved sitcom is set for a different kind of revival- as a porn film.

The porn-version of the sitcom, titled 'Friends - A XXX Parody', will hit DVD stores this summer (09).

While the Central Perk would turn perkier, the film's racy plot would be a combo of both comedy and sex.

Former Spice girl Geri Halliwell has adopted a pair of white lion cubs, a male and a female, and says she is delighted to have them as part of her family.

The singer has named the three-week-olds Rudi and Aphrodite, reported newsoftheworld.co.uk.

'I'm passionate about wildlife conversation, I love animals, especially lions. I'm delighted to add Rudi and Aphrodite to my family,' said Halliwell.

But the 36-year-old will only have a certificate that suggests her adoption. The cubs will have to remain at Paradise Wildlife Park, Hertfordshire, where they were born.

However, the wildlife centre in Hertfordshire will let her have access and give her regular updates on their progress.
