Actor John Abraham is one actor who does not kind using his star status for as many good causes as he can. The actor has recently been very active in the many movements which have germinated recently centering on getting people out of their homes on poll day.
But that is not his only area of interest. The actor also has other mammoth causes to which he has committed himself. This one is about the elephants and the actor has reportedly been campaigning, in the company of Mike Pandey, a renowned environmentalist and wildlife activist, for a home for wild elephants. His labour seems to have borne fruit with the state of Chhatisgarh coming forward to support his cause with a kitty of Rs 30 lakhs. Even Maharashtra is expected to pool in Rs 10 lakhs. While the likes of Pandey could have carried on for years, campaigning for their cause, a celeb name attached to the cause has managed to expedite matters to a great extent. John is an example of how young Bollywood is ready to step out into the real world and try and make a difference.

Hrithik Turns Student
Monday Apr 6 12:13 PM
Actor Hrithik Roshan has quite a lot in common with Aamir Khan. Besides being perfectionists, both actors are always willing to go the extra mile to led credibility to their characters on screen.
Hrithik, of course, chooses his films with care and does very few outside movies. Most of his movies, however, are for his own production house, hence he is always operating in a comfort zone. But it does not take away from the effort that he puts in to get his act just right for the character. For instance, in the recent Kites, which is being directed by Anurag Basu and produced by dad Rakesh Roshan, Hrithik has not only learnt salsa, but is also believed to have taken acting lessons to help polish his American English. Roshan Sr was more than willing to shell out big money for his son. According to reports, the Roshans hired Aaron Speiser, one of the top most Hollywood acting coaches to help train the cast of the film in getting their American English right. Aaron, who has worked with Hollywood icons like Will Smith, JLo, and Charlize Theron, reportedly worked quite extensively with Hrithik as well. And it was not just on getting his accent right, bit also on the finer points of acting. Clearly, Roshan Sr is leaving nothing to chance where Kites is concerned. But the really good news is that the interest that Indian actors are showing in honing their craft. Beisdes Hrithik. Kites also stars Barbara Mori and Kangana Ranaut.

Adhyayan Suman has launched a website to stay connected with his fans. What do you have to say on that?
I am very happy for Adhyayan because his previous film Raaz has done extremely well. When a film has done well that means a lot of people have seen the movie and have liked the characters. Launching a website is a great idea to stay connected with your fans, talk to them, distribute movie cds, dvds and also promote your films and your work. People can download songs and videos of Adhyayan. He is also a very good singer which is a highlight of the website. So I wish him all the best and congratulate him at the launch of the website.
How has your journey been while shooting for 'Jashnn'?
We had a lot of fun while shooting for 'Jashnn'. The movie is an emotional film and sometimes we used to get so involved in the scene that we used to find it difficult to get out of it. So there were days when we were emotional and quiet and some days we used to be cheerful and happy. 'Jashnn' has been an amazing journey for me.
What role do you essay in 'Jashnn'?
I am playing Sarah in 'Jashnn'. She is a very strong girl and takes her own decisions. She does not depend on anyone for an advice and doesn't give any advice. The stands by what she believes in. So that is what Sarah is all about.
How was your equation with Adhyayan while shooting for 'Jashnn'?
Adhyayan is an amazing co star. Whenever we were on sets, we used to have loads of fun whether indoors or outdoors. He is a very nice guy and God blesses him. I wish he remains always like that.
Shahana is another eye candy in 'Jashnn' along with you. How was it working with her?
It was very nice working with her. She is a fantastic actress. She does not have any kind of insecurity in her. All three of us… Adhyayan, Shahana and myself have become thick friends. We used to sit down and chat quite a lot when off sets. I am glad I got such people to work with.
Mahesh Bhatt is an ace director and very experienced. How was your experience with him working on this film?
Mahesh Bhattji is a creative director. It was a great experience because if you are under his guidance, you will never go wrong. The way he understands human emotions is worth appreciating. The way emotions are depicted in 'Jashnn' will definitely remain the USP of the film.
We see a variety of songs in 'Jashnn'. What do you have to say about it?
The music and performances of 'Jashnn' are definitely very good. The look of the film is very grand. Just like Vishesh films is known for its music, 'Jashnn' will also be remembered for its music.
