Our former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been the face of the French cosmetic brand, L'Oreal, for several years. But is it learned that the endorsement of Fairness cream was a matter of concern for our Former Miss World where she said she didn't want to promote a fairness cream in India where ones skin color is such a big issue. Now Ash is being joined by another ace actress Bollywood who made her mark right from her debut film 'Saawariya' to the recent one 'Delhi 6', Sonam Kapoor. Ash will continue to endorse the products while Sonam will represent fairness cream products .
"The name L'OREAL Paris is immediately evocative of the brand signature phrase 'Because, I am worth it'. It is an honor to represent the brand. My key values are same as those of L'OREAL Paris beauty, know how, commitment and excellence", said Sonam Kapoor.
The elegant, sophisticated and classic beauty with many layers to her persona has a great pedigree. That makes her not just a National but an International brand fit too. 2009 will be a highlight year for the L'Oreal Paris brand in India as both its spokespersons the iconic Aishwarya Rai and Sonam Kapoor will represent Indian beauty and talent oversees at the Cannes Film Festival alongside with other members of the dream team.
